We got up early to have a long day motoring north. Even though we really prefer sailing the wind was nonexistent. It was a good day to have to motor as we were going through a lot of narrow channels between islands and shallow parts. But sailing this route is so extremely beautiful in Norway.
At some point the skipper needed a break from the always happy and very service oriented crew – we never found out why.
As we reached open water there was still no wind so we decided not to continue along the coastline, but go back into the channels.
